My Story
I found my love of movement later than most, in my late 20s, after years of ignoring my health and living for the weekend. Once I started, I didn't stop.
Working as a graphic designer, I've lived in Sydney, London, New York and Singapore, chasing runs through Prospect Park and cycling along the tropical coast of Singapore.
After I farewelled crossfit in New York, I found my new fitness family in outdoor small group training in Singapore. Becoming a mother of two energetic boys only strengthened that obsession, and I trained to become a certified personal trainer with ACE (American Council on Exercise), inspired by wanting to help others find their own fitness ninja.
Training through two pregnancies, and surrounded by a mostly women-based fitness community, sparked a real curiosity in me, how our bodies move and change through pregnancy and beyond, and what safe, supportive training actually looks like at every stage. I went on to complete my Safe Return to Exercise certification, the Australian-recognised standard for pre and postnatal training, and later my Pre and Postnatal Coaching Certification through Girls Gone Strong Academy (founded by Molly Galbraith). It's a passion that's stuck with me ever since. Now, having just turned 50 and navigating perimenopause myself, it shapes the way I train pre and postnatal clients and women moving through every stage after.
That same curiosity carries into how I work with injuries too. Many folk I train are coming back from something, whether that's pregnancy, an injury, or just a lack of confidence about getting started again, and I build every session around where your body and mind is at that day.
“No judgement, no gym angst, just a safe space to move and get stronger and more confident.”
After founding a successful outdoor group and personal training community in Singapore called Sweat Co, I relocated to Adelaide. Now that I am qualified with my Australian credentials, Certificate III and IV, I'm so ready to bring a little bit of Sweat Co to Adelaide, training clients at home across East Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.
Running Sweat Co taught me that the real reward isn't the weight on the dumbbell, or the weight on the scales, it's watching a woman find her inner athlete. Whether it's bodyweight or lifting 2kg or 6kg, what matters is the confidence behind the movement. I love watching that shift in self belief, from dreading those first few sessions to smiling when they see me, and the pride on a clients face when they up a weight or master a new movement.
“Bringing both personal experience and learned knowledge to training women through every stage and every year.”

Singapore Postcards
I had so much fun running Sweat Co in Singapore, and I miss all my fitness friends so much.
These are a few shots from my most popular class, SweatCamp, on Saturday mornings. It was a serious, sweaty session, I used to be blinded by the sweat. The dry desert air here in Adelaide wicks it away so quickly, it's been weird to get used to. You can check out my Instagram feed to see more of Sweat Co.
